FAQ
When did you start shooting weddings?
I was an amateur photographer before I came to the US, and I started working full-time as a wedding photographer in 2018. At first, I learned wedding photography and other types of portrait shooting whose subjects are family, maternity or engagement in a senior photography studio in Seattle. During this period, I have found my favorite type is wedding photography. Therefore, I determined to become a professional wedding photographer. At the end of the 2021, I officially resigned from my former photography studio and started my own brand to accept wedding shooting orders independently in North America. In addition to Seattle, I also received orders from San Francisco, Los Angeles, even other countries. I’m a travel lover. Thanks to my job, I got a lot chances to travel. Now, being a destination wedding photographer is my ambition.
How do you photograph weddings?
For the wedding, I hope that the couple can enjoy their wedding day. So I will finish the new part of the independent shooting as soon as possible , leaving more time for the new couple to enjoy the happiness moments of the wedding. When newlyweds get together with family members and friends, I will be around to capture every detail. I understand that some couples may feel nervous and uneasy when facing the camera, which is very normal. After all, not all of people have as much experience as the models. I will guide them to do some interactions which is s helpful to make them more easy and relaxed and I can capture the perfect moments. I won’t force my clients to pose kinds of exaggerated positions. My shooting style is warm, casual, relaxed and happy.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I''m based in Seattle and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come .
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive sneak peak within 2 weeks, and full gallery link within maximum 10 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also choose some photos to do more retouch!
What is “retouch image?
“Retouch” can be understood as editing in detail, which means doing extra work on a photo, such as concealing and adjusting the body proportion of the person in the photo. I usually re-color all the photographic plates and let the client pick the ones that need retouching.
